You’ve Identified The What, Now For The How
As human beings, we all have goals and aspirations that we would like to see happen or challenges and difficulties that are causing interference in some part of our lives.
After identifying what needs to happen in our lives to bring about the desired change or outcome, it is not always easy for us to work out how to bring about the desired change on our own.
Working with a coach allows individuals to work out the how. Sometimes, it is a case of developing confidence or motivation, at other times it is a case of identifying the resources that the coachee has available to them to take them forward.
We find that by focusing on helping a coachee discover answers for themselves, they are more likely to engage with the solutions they have created and commit to achieving the transformation identified in their goal.
In supporting a coachee with their goals, we do not follow a rigid program outline or sequence as break-through moments can come at any time, but from our experience, the phases which are likely to be covered during the course of the relationship would consist of the following:
